Young Fishermen enjoy fishing derby at Dodd's Park

 

The Village held the annual Fishing Derby June 29. The event was well attend and the children and families had a fun time. It was held at Dodds Park. The Akron Watershed Division was on hand with information and items as well as Summit Metro Parks. 


The event was sponsorded by Fisherman's Central, Port Summit Rotary, Berkley Catch More Fish, Fenwik, Pit Stop, Lakemore Police, Lakemore Fire, and Village of Lakemore Outreach. 
Prizes were given out in each age group for the most variety and biggest fish and then a prize for the biggest fish overall by any age. Enjoy the pictures.
